Sport Injury Claims

People engaging in physical sports are aware that such activities carry a certain level of risk. However, injuries can occur due to someone else’s intention or reckless behaviour. In this case, you have three years from the date of the injury to file a sport injury compensation claim.

According to Health and Social Care Information Centre’s statistics, in the past years we have been dealing with a considerable rise in the number of sport injuries, often with cases up by around 15% from one year to another. About 50% of these cases (approximately 200,000), in 2012 for instance, affected males aged 10 to 29. (Source: HSCIC).

How long do I have to put in a compensation claim?
